PROJECT OVERVIEW
MadMicrobe partnered directly with Tubulis to create a sophisticated, two-minute animation showcasing their proprietary technology for ADC development. Our close partnership with the client involved co-developing the script and ensuring the accuracy of the scientific concepts illustrated. The objective was to create a powerful educational tool for investors, partners, and the scientific community that visually explains the chemical innovation behind the Tubulis linker.
THE CHALLENGE
The central creative challenge was to visualize a highly technical and abstract concept: molecular stability. We needed to create a clear visual distinction between the client’s novel linker technology and conventional methods. The animation had to seamlessly transition between explaining the intricate chemistry of the linker and demonstrating its functional benefit within a biological context, all while maintaining the highest degree of scientific accuracy.
THE SOLUTION: BLUEPRINT TO BIOLOGICAL ACTION
Our solution involved developing two distinct, complementary visual environments to tell the complete story. This dual-scene approach allowed us to address both the chemistry and the biology with precision and clarity.
First, we created a clean, technical “infographic engineering scene” that functioned like an interactive molecular software program. This environment allowed us to deconstruct the ADC, build the proprietary linker with its unique phosphorus core, and explain the chemistry with scientific authority.
Second, we used a dynamic “cellular environment” to demonstrate the technology in a biological context. Here, we established a powerful visual contrast: conventional ADCs were shown to be unstable, prematurely losing their toxic warheads. In contrast, the Tubulis ADC demonstrated its enhanced stability with a memorable and intuitive “snap back” animation, which clearly conveyed the strength of the bond.

IMPACT
The final animation provides Tubulis with a clear and sophisticated tool to explain their proprietary technology. The dual-scene narrative successfully bridges the gap between complex chemistry and tangible biological benefits, empowering the Tubulis team to effectively communicate their key differentiators. The animation serves as a critical asset for engaging with investors, potential partners, and the wider scientific community, clearly establishing the value of the Tubulis platform.
